This course starts with an introduction to electric circuits. AC and DC circuits are studied (series, parallel, and series-parallel). Topics covered are fundamentals of AC circuits, polar and rectangular forms of impedances, Ohm's law, KVL, KCL, voltage and current divider, source conversion, mesh analysis, nodal analysis, superposition, Thevenin's and Norton's theorems, maximum power transfer and finally Millman's theorem. Finally, methods for analyzing and calculating electrical quantities of balanced three-phase systems will be discussed.
